Source Caption: Without being able to see more of the wharf, I would guess 1867-1887. The white building on the bluff to the right of center is William Pomin's Tahoe House, which acquired its facade in 1867. Robert Watson bought the Tahoe House in 1887, and immediately began a remodel that transformed it into the balconied inn in this 1911 C.W. Vernon Photo.
