Old Mormon Station

The Old Mormon Station, located in Genoa. This trading post was the first permanent settlement in Nevada. The original building burned in 1910. A replica was built in 1947.

Source Caption: Undated postcard photo of the oldest building in Nevada located in Genoa, the Old Mormon Station built by John Reese in 1851. The building was destroyed by fire in 1910. Rebuilt in 1947 as a museum, today it houses many original pioneer era artifacts.
