V&T Equipment at Mound House

Before the Nevada State Railroad Museum was established, equipment from the Virginia and Truckee Railroad was stored in various places around town. In 1971 & 1972, some equipment was stored in a field in Mound House. This closeup shows the V&T lettering on a flat car.
