Source Caption: As many of you know, last night we lost a portion of Old Town Dayton. The Fox Hotel has been a staple in this community for many years and we are sad to see this loss. Along with the old hotel 2 structures to the east were also destroyed. Our responding crews were able to stop the advancement of the fire before additional structures were lost and ensure the safety of the homes and businesses nearby. We currently have investigators on scene and safety crews in the area to ensure the situation is mitigated as quickly as possible. We would like to thank our volunteers and Carson City Fire who responded quickly to help our crews extinguish the fire and cover medical calls.
