Source Caption: Some very old and poor photo's of Anita Baldwins "lodge" at the North west corner of Fallen Leaf lake. Exterior of the lodge, Fire place, interior decorations, and entry arch for the access road. I believe the Buffalo on the fire place was moved to Grace McGoniglas estate, what the Forest Service now calls "Baldwin" estate next to Kiva picnic area. When I was a teenager I was offered the Buffalo head but my parents would not let me have it. That was at the time McGonigal's sold to the Forest Service and the family was closing down the place. I did end up with a few artifact from McGonigals. We lived in the care takers cabin at the Anita Baldwin Fallen Leaf location during the summer in 1957.
