Tallac Pier

A steamship leaving the pier at Tallac Resort on the south shore of Lake Tahoe. The Tallac Clubhouse is visible at the end of the pier. The ship seems to be the S.S. Tahoe.

Source Caption: These photo's were taken at Lucky Baldwin's "Tallac" resort that was in operation from 1875 to around 1920. The location is the present day "Kiva Picnic Area", at the Southwest corner of Tahoe about 1/2 mile west of Camp Richardson.
