Source Caption: Many of you have probably been to Lora Knights Tea House on Fannette Island in the bay. This photo from around 1930 shows the Tea House under construction. After Lora Knights death in 1945 the island and Vikingsholm was bought by Harvey West. He sold it to the state of California for about half the value after which time Emerald State Park was created.
