Source Caption: Carla Burke While Getchell Library was there in the 1960s and 1970s, you are correct. That photo is from much later after the plaza in front of the library was "remodeled." Those trees in the planter boxes were added, as were the picnic tables. I'm thinking the photo above is around 1990. The following photo is c. 1965. I was the Reference Librarian in Getchell for 28 years starting in the 1970s.
