Looking north on Virginia Street from Liberty in downtown Reno. Many signs can be seen along both sides of the street. On the left is U.S. Tires, U.S. Employment Service, and an Oldsmobile dealer. On the right is the Tower Theater, a Packard and Plymouth dealer, and a parking garage. The Riverside Hotel is in the distance. This is before the Mapes Hotel was built; that hotel would later rise right in the center of this view.
