Source Caption: Reno From The Air. The caption says c1940 and I Am inclined to believe it. The "old" post office is still standing, and there is no 'Victory' signage behind the Majestic Theater that was up in 1943. I like this photo for several reasons. Being able to see the “old” and “new” post offices in the same picture is nice. But it is a rare photo taken from the air that shows you the Washoe County Court House and the University of Nevada in the same shot.
