Description

The Roaring Camp nightclub at 128 Lake Street in downtown Reno. Ramona's Kitchen Mexican restaurant was located inside the club. The club had a large antique gun collection. Harolds Club bought the collection and the Roaring Camp name and reopened the club inside the casino.

(Stagg's nightclub, famous for its large gun and Western memorabilia collection, was recently purchased by Harolds Club.) In the background at right is a billboard advertising the "Edgar Bergen & Charlie McCarthy Show," sponsored by Coca-Cola, which would debut on October 2, 1949, on CBS radio.
