Description

There are two major subjects in this nighttime view of Virginia Street in downtown Reno. On the left is the Mapes Casino, its neon fully lit up. Appearing in the World Famous Sky Room is Al Bello and Eddie Nigro. Across the river is the Hotel Riverside, its lit-up facade a beacon at the end of Virginia Street. At this point the hotel was known as Jessie Beck's Riverside. Their neon needs a little work though.
