Source Caption: Here is the state marker in front of Lakeside House place by Von Schmidt's survey crew according to E.B.Scott. The marker reads 1873. That's reportedly E.B. Scott standing next the Cottrel sisters. As you can see it appears to run right through the center of the house. Apparently the state line was moved several times. (Glorene Dunlap Young)
