Source Caption: The Mill Station Schoolhouse, once called Mill Station and owned by R.L. Thompson. One if the first little houses of logging and fluming in 1861. In 1868 it was a voting station. 1881 few houses were left in Mill Station. The only remaining relic of Mill Station is the old school house. Courtesy of Washoe County Records, Deeds, Book 15.
