Description

In 1934 the steamer S.S. Tahoe was retired and tied up at the Lake Tahoe Railway and Transportation Company pier at the foot of Grove Street.

Source Caption: The Tahoe sat at the wharf out of service for years. From what I understand the Bliss family had sold her, but bought her back and rather than see her sold for scrap and vandelized more than she was, they buried her just off Glenbrook. Maybe someone knows more. (Ferrel)
