Galaxy Airlines Crash

On January 21, 1985, Galaxy Airlines Flight 203 crashed just a couple of minutes after taking off from the Reno airport. There was only one survivor. The crash happened at an RV dealership along South Virginia Street in Reno. The dealership was located right where Sierra Center Parkway meets Virginia Street today. This aerial view shows the crash site and the nearby businesses.
