Description

The locomotive Glenbrook sits in disrepair in Grass Valley in the 1930s. It was brought here to be used as spare parts for its sister engine, The Tahoe. Later it was moved to Carson City for preservation and eventually restoration.

Source Caption: ...Here it is in Grass Valley, CA during the 1930s where it was sent as a source of parts to keep sister, NCNGRR 5 running. It was shipped back to Carson City in 1942 for display and eventual restoration.
