Strawberry Ski Hut

The Strawberry Ski Hut ski area. This ski area was on Hwy 50 west of Lake Tahoe, past Echo Summit in the Camp Sacramento area. It was later known as Edelweiss Ski Area. It closed in 1963.

Source Caption: Here’s a photo of Strawberry Ski Hut around 1946. This was before they changed the name to Edelweiss Ski Area. There was only one lodge and four rope tows. No chair lift till 1954.
