Description

This view looks southwest at the businesses along Carson Street, between Second and Third. On the opposite side of Third, at the left, is the St. Charles Hotel, in one of its dingier incarnations. The gleaming white plaster placed on it in the 1940s is starting to fade. The tow truck and "Garage" sign mark the location of Morris Motors, angled away from us so we can't see its front. Next to the right is Mercury Cleaners, and then Vic's Central Bar.
