Geiger Grade Lookout

The lookout along Geiger Grade between Reno and Virginia City allowed travelers to rest and take in the sights of the Truckee Meadows.

Source Caption: Thought I nailed this one but nope, a little off. Still interesting. The lookout construction has gone downhill but the trees are doing great. This is the Geiger Grade Lookout on Highway 341 to Virginia City. It was built by the Nevada Highway Dept in 1938.
