Tahoe City Machine Shop

The machine shops of the Lake Tahoe Railway and Transportation Company Railroad at Tahoe City. These shops were to the north of Swallow Cliffs on the waterfront.

Source Caption: These are the Tahoe City shops that were barged across Lake Tahoe from Glenbrook. They were just north of the 316 foot low trestle. Evidently the Machine Shop was the former Carson &Tahoe Lumber and Fluming Companies engine house over in Glenbrook.(George Oliver)
