Source Caption: Passengers crowd the starboard side of the veteran steamer 'Tahoe' as she maneuvers toward Tallac Village pier on a regular daily summer tourist and mail-hauling run.

One can almost imagine the captain grumbling as he struggles to hold her trim, wishing that half the crowd would go stand on the port side to balance the load.
