Tallac Post Office

E. F. Mueller Postcard Collection

The Tallac Post Office was on a pier at the Tallac Resort on the south shore of Lake Tahoe. This was also a ticket office for the Lake Tahoe Railway and Transportation Company. This was the company that operated the SS Tahoe steamship, as well as the railroad between Truckee and Tahoe City.
