Description

The Tahoe Tavern in Tahoe City was one of the largest and most luxurious hotels in Tahoe for its time. It was built in 1902, but by the 1960s was aging and in poor repair. New owners decided against a renovation and instead tore it down in 1964 to be replaced with condos.
