V&T #12 Genoa

Description
This is Virginia and Truckee Railroad engine #12, The Genoa, crossing a bridge heading south. This seems to be the bridge crossing the Carson River in the Carson Valley on the Minden branch line. Which would place this photo in a very narrow window between 1906, when the line to Minden opened, and 1908, when the Genoa was retired because of declining revenues.
The car behind pulled behind the engine appears to be one of the 1874 passenger/baggage combination cars, either car #15 or #16. The number on the side of the car is kind of hard to read. If this really is #16, then this photo is remarkable because Engine #12 and Car #16 are both on display together today at the California State Railroad Museum, still paired up exactly like they are in this photo.
