Reno V&T Train Yard

This is a good overview of the V&T's Reno railyard. In the center, Engine #17, "Columbus", takes on water at the water tank. To the right is the turntable that would turn engines around after making the trip from Carson, and past that is the single-stall enginehouse where locomotives were kept overnight to be ready for the morning train. Just out of frame to the left is the bridge over the Truckee River.
