Description

The Virginia and Truckee enginehouse in Reno. This photo was taken in 1904. In April of the next year, 1905, the gallows-style turntable seen here was removed and replaced with an upgraded model. Also the enginehouse was shortened. Work on that project seems to already be underway. The back half of the enginehouse looks like it's being dismantled.
