Virginia & Truckee #28

Virginia & Truckee locomotive #28 running on the revived tourist Virginia & Truckee Railroad in 1976. This was the first year of the revival. Locomotive #28 ran on the revived railroad in Virginia City for just the first year. It was a rented engine and left the Comstock after that. Later it was purchased by the Nevada State Railroad Museum and renumbered #8. The train is approaching the former Tunnel #5 south of Virginia City.
