Ogden Mills

Ogden Mills was president and owner of the Virginia & Truckee Railroad from 1910 to 1929. The son of railroad co-founder Darius Ogden Mills, he had inherited the railroad from his father. He had many other businesses and interests on the East Coast, so he seldom visited his little railroad in the West. Here he is sitting at Henry Yerington's desk in the Carson City depot.
