Description

This is the view from a car driving south on Hwy 395 through the Carson Valley. What's remarkable about this photo is that Hwy 395 is still two lanes here. A couple of years later, the road was widened to its current four-lane configuration. But in this photo it seems more like an idyllic country lane than a major north-south thoroughfare.

I'm not able to pinpoint exactly where this photo was taken, but it seems to be somewhere near Johnson Lane.
