V&T Locomotive #16 "Ophir"

Nevada State Railroad Museum

Virginia & Truckee Locomotive #16 "Ophir" was sold to the Oregon Railway & Navigation Company in 1881, after only 9 years on the V&T. In this photo it was on a later railroad as #3. In 1926 it appeared as the "Yonah" in the Buster Keaton movie "The General", and it was scrapped some time after.
