Myron Angel's History Of Nevada 1881

Description

This drawing is of Treadway's Park, a ranch along Washington Street just to the west of Carson City that was a popular picnic spot in the late 1800s. A V&T Train is depicted pulling up to the ranch, seemingly bringing in a load of visitors from Virginia City. Another train is seen in the background heading up Lakeview Hill towards Reno. Also shown in the drawing is Aaron D. Treadway, proprietor of the park.
