Description

The closed and abandoned Lucky Spur casino was a downtown fixture in Carson City for 25 years. Here it is seen in 1982, only a few years after closing. Much of the rainbow facade is still in place. Signs on the side of the building say "Casino" and "Coffee Shop". Most of the letters off the marquee are missing, but it does still say "WE S R STLING". Some about wrestling, surely. A Ma Bell phone booth stands at the corner of the building.

The shop next door houses the 21st Century something, but the photo has cut off the rest of the sign.
