Description

The Casino de Paris at Stateline Lake Tahoe. This casino was built as the Tahoe Village Resort in 1946, near current-day Kahle Drive. The casino went through a series of owners in its 20 years of operation, later being renamed Oliver's Club. It burned in February 1965. The Douglas County Administrative Building is now on this site.

Walters, along with his wife, Dena Selette Walters, and brothers-in-law Max and Edward Selette, remodeled the former Tahoe Village, re-opening the club as the new Casino de Paris for the summer of 1952.
