Source Caption: Virginia street bridge in 1910. The trolleys are nice. Notice the unpaved road at the end of the bridge. Not too many cars in those days, but plenty of buggy's. Its around 1910 the Interurban Trolley is crossing the Virginia Street Bridge. Across the bridge is the Federal Building built around 1908. It housed the Federal Court and the Post Office. Across the field is the Reno City Hall built around 1907 North of the bridge is Reno Traction Trolley that started in 1904 and linked Reno with Sparks. Nevada Interurban ran from California Avenue and Plumas Street out to Moana Springs although the Interurban used Reno Traction's tracks. Part of the Majestic Theater can be seen across the field where the YMCA will be built around a year later. (Neal Cobb from Reno Then and Now)
