Description

An aerial view of the Peppermill and Century Theaters in south Reno. At this time the Peppermill was a small casino and motel. Over the decades it would grow to be one of the largest hotel/casinos in Reno. The theater expanded until it grew to 10 screens. It was demolished in the late 90s, when larger megaplexes were built in other parts of Reno. It is now parking for the Peppermill. The Midway Drive-in can be seen next door to the theater; that was demolished earlier and turned into parking for the indoor theater.
