Gee's Chinese Pagoda Restaurant opened on August 14, 1964, at 2205 West Fourth Street in Reno, the former site of John Robb Clarke's Circle RB Lodge (named after his daughter, Western actress Reno Browne). Next door to the left, at 2251 West Fourth Street, is LaRue's Lodge, owned by Reno Browne and her husband, Western star Lash LaRue.
