Source Caption: Postcard photo of the historic Silver Terrace Cemetery in Virginia City Nevada c. 1970's. Established in 1860 in order to accomodate the dead by a wide variety of fraternal, civic, and religious groups. Because of it's historical significance it qualified for a "Save America's Treasures" grant for restoration from the National Park Service. Photo credit Mike Roberts.
