Source Caption: I do believe the Wells overpass was built in the summer 1966. They had to tear down parts of the overpass as it was considered unstable and had to be rebuilt by the early 70's. Here are some pictures looking South and North on 4th St at the railroad tracks during the building of the overpass... The black and white picture of the 2 ton troop carrier was taken during WWII when Stead was an active duty Military Base.
