The Sparks Air Park was an airport on the outskirts of Sparks. Eventually the city grew and the airport was closed and built over. This photo is from soon after houses were built on the former runway. This view looks to the southwest. The area at the far right with the hangars is now the Greenbrae shopping center; some of the hangars still exist as shops.
