Source Caption: The Commercial Soap Works plant in Reno in 1921. The company's offices and factory were located on Steiner between South Virginia and Forest Streets. Today it would have been located at the northwest corner of St. Lawrence Avenue and Tahoe Street. They produced toilet soaps that included Tea Rose, Primrose and Mount Rose. Other soaps including laundry soaps were named Silver White, May Queen Borax, and Pale Savon. An advertisement stated the company "builds Nevada bank accounts and makes the dirt fade".
