Description

In 1972-73 the Carson Nugget's garish yellow and red facade was renovated during an expansion. This grainy photo, taken at the beginning of the work, shows work on removing the Carson Street facade, taking down some of the panels covering the Rosser Building on the corner. Abe Curry's eagle statue is seen on the roof. The Rosser Building was demolished during this renovation and a new Nugget expansion built on the site.
