Description

William Lynch (also known as Billy) was born in the 1820s and had worked as a valet to Presidents Abraham Lincoln and Andrew Jackson. In the 1860s he was given a job at the U.S. Mint in Carson City and lived in Carson into his old age, telling stories of the former presidents.
