Description

These are two V&T Engines taking on oil at the Carson City enginehouse oil tank. These are engines #26 and #25. #25 still exists and is housed at the Nevada State Railroad Museum. #26 was destroyed in a fire in 1950.

I believe the second engine under the shade is V&T #26 not the #27. #26 had a capped stack a #27 had a straight stack in this time period.
#26 was scrapped after the enginehouse fire in 1950 damaged her.
