Description

A very crowded and busy Carson Nugget seen in the 1960s. The view is looking north from near the Capitol building. On the left side of the street signs can be seen for George Meyer Hardware, Sprouse Reitz, the Silver Spur casino, and way in the distance the City Center Motel. The Carson Nugget dominates the center of the photo even though it is several blocks away. On the right side signs for the Pine Cone Cafe and Greeno Hotel can be seen. Rising above it all is the tower of the old post office.
