Description

The Nevada State Museum on Carson Street, housed in the former U.S. Mint Building at Carson and Robinson. This photo from the rear shows the old annex in the back before it was demolished. Sitting at the left is the Merci Boxcar. This boxcar was a thank you gift from the people of France to every state in the Union after the end of World War II.
